Custom LED Light Box & SEG Display Manufacturer
BrandMateDisplay manufactures custom LED SEG light boxes for retail, exhibitions, hospitality and branded commercial spaces. Send us your finished size, quantity, single- or double-sided requirement, mounting method, destination country and deadline. We will review the frame, graphic, lighting, electrical and packing configuration before quotation.

SEG stands for silicone edge graphic. A printed fabric graphic has a silicone strip sewn around its edge; the strip is inserted into a channel around the frame. When the graphic is fitted correctly, the visible face looks clean and nearly frameless. The hardware can remain in use while campaign graphics are replaced.
For B2B buyers, the important point is that an SEG light box is a complete system: frame + LED layout + power supply + fabric graphic + mounting + packing. Selecting only by price or frame depth can create problems later with illumination, installation or replacement graphics.
| Buyer concern | What should be confirmed before production |
|---|---|
| Will the graphic look evenly illuminated? | Frame depth, lighting architecture, LED layout, graphic material and the agreed illumination acceptance method. |
| Will replacement graphics fit? | Visible size, finished fabric size, silicone-edge specification and artwork template. |
| Can our installers mount it correctly? | Wall, hanging or freestanding configuration, mounting hardware, cable exit and installation drawing. |
| Will it work in our country? | Input voltage, driver/power supply, plug or hard-wiring requirement and destination-market documentation. |
| Can we repeat the same unit across many stores? | Approved drawing or golden sample, size schedule, labeling, graphic revision control and packing list. |
| Can it be used outdoors? | Do not assume so. Outdoor exposure, enclosure and IP requirement must be confirmed for the exact configuration. |
The options below are based on the configurations currently represented in our product range. Final specifications are confirmed in the quotation and drawing for the actual project.
| Specification | Project options / notes |
|---|---|
| Frame material | Aluminum-frame systems are the main format; other frame constructions should be confirmed by model. |
| Profile depth | Current listed options include approximately 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 mm. The correct depth depends on size, lighting design and installation. |
| Graphic | Printed SEG fabric with sewn silicone edge; exact fabric/print specification is confirmed by application. |
| Lighting | Edge-lit or direct/backlit architecture is selected according to frame profile, size and illumination requirements. |
| Single / double sided | Project dependent; confirm the required viewing direction before quotation. |
| Shape | Rectangular/square configurations and selected custom shapes are available subject to engineering review. |
| Artwork | AI, PDF, PSD or high-resolution image files can be reviewed; production artwork requirements are confirmed after size approval. |
| CCT / CRI / brightness | Specified by project when required. Ask for the applicable values and measurement method for the quoted model. |
| Electrical | Input voltage, power supply/driver and plug or hard-wiring are configured for the destination and product. |
| Mounting | Wall-mounted, suspended or freestanding options depend on the frame system. |
| Packing | Selected according to size and shipment method. Current configurations may use protective wrap, cartons/plywood protection or transport cases. |
| Certification | Confirm required documentation by SKU and destination market before ordering; certifications are not generalized across every configuration. |
A thinner profile is not automatically the better choice. The frame depth affects lighting geometry, installation clearance, rigidity, component access and packing. Small wall-mounted displays may prioritize a slim appearance, while larger formats or demanding illumination requirements may need a deeper profile.
Edge-lit systems can support thinner profiles in suitable sizes, while direct/backlit systems are often practical when a deeper frame or large illuminated area makes rear lighting easier to engineer. The decision should be made from the finished size, depth, illumination target and service requirements—not from a generic claim that one technology is always superior.
For a deeper comparison, read our Edge-Lit vs Backlit SEG Light Boxes buyer guide (currently under editorial review before publication).
One of the strongest commercial advantages of SEG is that the frame can stay in place while the graphic changes. This is useful for seasonal retail campaigns, exhibitions and multi-location programs. Buyers should keep the approved artwork template and finished graphic specification so future replacement prints match the original frame.
Rather than treating “high quality” as a marketing phrase, we recommend checking the actual acceptance points for the order. Depending on the configuration, these can include frame dimensions and finish, connector fit, wiring and driver arrangement, graphic tension, visible dark areas/hotspots, final appearance and packing completeness.
See our LED Light Box Quality Control page for the site-wide QC framework.

Installation should be confirmed together with the frame. Before production, tell us whether the unit will be wall mounted, suspended or freestanding, and whether there are restrictions on fixing depth, cable exit or service access. Large systems may be divided into sections for transport and assembled on site.
Packing is part of the project specification. A single wall-mounted light box and a repeat-use exhibition system should not be packed the same way. We review frame length, component protection, graphics, power accessories and destination before finalizing the packing method.
For project buyers, supplier value comes from reducing uncertainty. Our goal is to make the quote and production basis clear: what size is being built, which frame and graphic system are used, how it is powered and installed, what will be checked, and how it will be packed. Where a specification is not yet confirmed, we prefer to mark it for project confirmation instead of publishing a blanket claim.
Finished size, quantity, single/double-sided requirement, mounting method, destination country, electrical standard and deadline. Artwork or a drawing is helpful when available.
Yes. Replaceable graphics are a core advantage of the SEG system. Keep the approved template and finished graphic specification for future reprints.
Custom sizing is available subject to the frame system and engineering review. Large sizes may require sectional construction for transport and installation.
No. Outdoor use must be specified separately. The required protection, enclosure, electrical arrangement and installation environment need to be reviewed for the exact project.
Documentation must be checked by product configuration and destination. Tell us the required standard before ordering so the applicable component/product documentation can be confirmed.
MOQ and lead time depend on size, frame, graphic, electrical configuration, quantity and project schedule. They are confirmed in the quotation rather than generalized across all SEG systems.
For a faster quotation, include: size / quantity / single or double sided / mounting / destination / voltage or plug requirement / artwork status / deadline.
