Custom LED Light Box & SEG Display Manufacturer
BrandMateDisplay supplies custom outdoor double-sided LED signage for storefronts, hospitality, retail and commercial projects. This is not a one-spec-fits-all product: the correct frame, face material, mounting, electrical protection and weather resistance depend on the installation environment.

It is an illuminated sign designed to display a brand or message on two visible faces, commonly mounted perpendicular to a storefront or installed where traffic approaches from both directions. Depending on the project, the structure may be round, square, rectangular or custom-shaped.
A flat wall sign is mainly visible from one direction. A double-sided projecting sign helps pedestrians or drivers identify the location while approaching from either side. Illumination extends visibility into evening hours, while custom graphics and shape help the sign match the storefront identity.
| Exposure | What to tell us | Why it changes the design |
|---|---|---|
| Sheltered | Under canopy / inside covered walkway | Lower direct exposure to rain and sun |
| Semi-exposed | Occasional wind-driven rain / partial cover | Sealing, cable entry and drainage become more important |
| Fully exposed | Direct rain, sun, wind and temperature changes | Requires project-specific enclosure, electrical and mounting review |
We do not apply one blanket “waterproof” claim to every sign. If your project specifies an IP rating, tell us before quotation. The quoted configuration should then be reviewed for enclosure sealing, cable entry, joints, face material, drainage and electrical protection.
An IP requirement should be tied to the exact product configuration, not copied from another model. When an IP rating is required, ask which part of the assembly it applies to and what evidence supports it. This is especially important for projecting signs because brackets, cable entries and service openings are part of the installed system.
The structure normally combines a formed or fabricated frame, illuminated faces, internal lighting/electrical components and a wall or project-specific mounting bracket. Material and finish should be selected according to sign size, shape, exposure and project appearance.
Ask how the sign will look after the final face/graphic is installed. LED spacing, enclosure depth, diffuser/face construction and internal reflection all affect visible hotspots and edge shadowing. If your brand requires a defined CCT, CRI or luminance target, add it to the RFQ.
The structure, lighting and bracket must be designed as a complete double-sided sign. The sign depth, internal lighting and wall interface should be confirmed at drawing stage rather than treating the second face as an afterthought.
Projecting signs create leverage on the wall and mounting hardware. Tell us the installation method, sign size, approximate mounting height and wall/substrate information if known. The product supplier can provide sign and bracket dimensions, but final site fixing may need local installer or engineering review depending on project rules and wind conditions.
A sign should be maintainable after installation. Ask how the face opens or removes, where the driver is located, how LEDs can be serviced and whether the bracket or enclosure blocks access. This becomes important for signs mounted high above ground or in busy commercial areas.
| Specification | What the buyer should provide / confirm |
|---|---|
| Finished size | Width × height × depth or target visual size |
| Shape | Round / square / rectangle / custom |
| Mounting | Projecting bracket / wall / suspended / other |
| Exposure | Sheltered / semi-exposed / fully exposed |
| Required IP | Specify if mandated by project |
| Electrical | Country, voltage, plug or hard-wire |
| Lighting | CCT / CRI / brightness requirement if applicable |
| Graphic | Artwork / logo / face construction requirement |
| Quantity | Per size / per store / per phase |
| Deadline | Sample / production / installation date |
Projecting signs can have vulnerable edges, faces and brackets. Packing should protect the illuminated faces and keep mounting/electrical accessories clearly identified. Ask for packed dimensions and gross weight when freight cost or site handling matters.
For outdoor signage, the useful supplier conversation is about the installation and risk—not about adding more adjectives. We work from the actual project conditions and identify which dimensions, bracket, electrical arrangement and protection requirements still need confirmation before production.
Yes, subject to the construction and engineering review. Send a drawing or target size and shape.
No blanket IP claim is applied. If your project requires IP65 or another rating, state it in the RFQ so the exact quoted configuration can be checked.
Yes, projecting installation is a common application. The sign size, bracket, wall substrate and local load requirements should be reviewed together.
MOQ and lead time depend on size, shape, face construction, electrical system, quantity and required protection. They are confirmed in the project quotation.
Send: size / shape / quantity / mounting / exposure / required IP if any / destination / voltage / artwork / deadline. Site photos or installation drawings are especially useful for projecting signs.
